Our Mission...
We all have a carbon footprint. As an online retailer, ours is probably larger than yours. We are very aware of this and want to do everything we can to reduce our impact on the environment. There are a few simple things we already do, but there is always more. Our mission is to be carbon negative and create a lasting and positive impact to our earth both now and for future generations.
Our focus
Planting Trees
While we can always cut down our energy usage, convert to renewables and use recycled packaging in our processes, this doesn't get us any closer to our goals.
One way to offset our carbon footprint is to plant trees. The idea is simple, planting trees actually removes carbn dioxide from the atmosphere, so in effect this offsets what we use.
As a bonus, over time, these trees become larger and live longer than us meaning there is an ongoing positive feedback even after we're gone which will help safeguard earth for future generations.
We will plant
One tree for every order
For every order that is placed with us at Custom Gift Co, we will plant one tree through our partner 'Ecologi'. This means that just by buying with us you can help us in our mission.
Ecologi plant a diverse range of tree species all over the world, from Madagascar, Kenya and Mozambique to Scotland and work with the local people to create jobs and grow not just forests but also communities.
